Living in the fertile region of Charsadda District, I have observed that sunlight plays a crucial role in agricultural productivity. Crops such as wheat, maize, sugarcane, and vegetables depend heavily on solar energy for growth, which directly supports the local economy and livelihoods of farmers.
In addition to natural benefits, I have also noticed positive developments in the use of modern solar technology in our area. Solarization in mosques (Masajid), solar-powered street lighting, irrigation systems operated through solar panels, and even solar-powered wheat grinding machines are being adopted. These are encouraging steps that reflect a shift toward sustainable energy practices at the community level.
These observations highlight that solar energy is not only environmentally beneficial but also economically practical. It reduces dependence on conventional energy sources, lowers costs, and supports sustainable development. From an Islamic perspective, such responsible use of natural resources reflects the principles of stewardship (Khilafah), moderation, and care for the environment.
